THE CONTEXT
Oráculo is a speculative music festival set in Mexico City’s Zócalo during the spring equinox, celebrating Spanish-language dance, alternative, and experimental music.

Research drew from Mexican folklore, Aztec codices, and petroglyphs, inspiring layout grids, glyphs, and a festival mascot, the Chaneque, which symbolizes mischief, protection, and a connection to the earth.
THE OUTCOME
The visual identity strikes a balance between cultural history and experimental energy. An energetic color palette pairs with stone-carving textures to root the system in Mexican tradition. Typography combines legibility with expressive rhythm, echoing the music.

The system was applied across artist posters, lineup graphics, glyphs, merchandise, and a speculative limited-edition LP release, creating an immersive festival identity.

Oráculo becomes an event where ancient symbolism collides with contemporary sound, celebrating the power of music to unite, transform, and transcend language.
