COLLABORATORS:Adobe Community Content Strategy TeamMENU DESIGN POSTER DESIGN PRINT DESIGN 2025 THE CONTEXTThrough the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship program, I was commissioned to design visuals for an afterparty event in Berlin celebrating Adobe’s creative community. The brief asked me to capture the city’s edgy, underground style and translate it across both posters and menus. With a tight timeline and print applications, the work had to strike a balance between clarity and subcultural energy.
My research focused on Berlin’s Brutalist architecture, Telediskos (repurposed phone booths transformed into discos), and the graphic language of rave flyers that informed a grid-driven system echoing Berlin’s underground spirit.
THE OUTCOMEThe final deliverables included a large-format poster and a compact menu design, unified through a strict grid, monospaced typography, and tight kerning, which generated visual tension. A spiral motif became the central graphic element, nodding to rave aesthetics while adapting flexibly across scales. Adjustments to hierarchy and contrast ensured legibility for small menus while maintaining bold impact for posters.
